Will access to the journal always be free?

Our aim is to keep digital access to Journal de Folie free for as long as possible. Free access allows more readers to discover the work we publish and supports emerging writers and artists. As the journal grows, some features may evolve, but our intention is to keep the core reading experience accessible.
Will I always have access once I sign up?

Yes. Once you create a member account, you will be able to access the digital issues available in the World of Folie. New issues will be added as they are released.
How do the print editions work?

We currently operate using a print-to-order system. This helps keep the journal sustainable and reduces waste by printing copies only when they are purchased. Because copies are printed after an order is placed, delivery times can vary slightly. Generally, orders are printed within a few days and then shipped depending on your location. International orders may take longer to arrive.
Do contributors get paid?

Yes. Journal de Folie pays contributors an honorarium for published work. As the journal grows and the budget increases, we hope to raise contributor payments over time.
